Interested in being your own boss? At AAA we are often recruiting owner drivers to join our expanding team for varied and rewarding Sameday courier work.

We recognise that good courier drivers are essential to providing an efficient service to our customers. For this we require a special type of person, one who has a smart and presentable appearance and can recognise that outstanding customer service is vital.

• Full UK Driving License – we cannot accept any previous records of disqualification.
• Vehicle less than 5 years old –must be reliable and suitable to carry various goods
• Hard working and reliable – A strong focus on customer satisfaction
• Good geographical knowledge - Experience not essential
• Flexible to changing circumstances – Available to work at all times when required
• Polite and professional – Adhere to customer site rules and wear safety clothing when required.

Key tasks:

• Demonstrate strong customer service skills and comply with all relevant procedures so that customer requirements are understood.
• Ensure that deliveries are completed in a timely manner and that you arrive at the customer premises well presented at all times and that you are polite helpful and courteous at all times.
• Inform us on any delays and changes to planned route including unplanned stops and parking
• Ensure paper work is accurate and POD's are signed and legible, dated, timed and returned to the office.
• All health and safety rules adhered to when arriving at the customer. i.e high visibility vest, safety footwear and hair nets.Ensure vehicles are kept clean and checked for any defects before loading.
